Now THIS Is 'Tail-gating': Mobile Pet Adoption Van Rolls To Redskins' Home Games

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA) - Adding a new twist to Washington Redskins football and the pre-game tail-gating tradition, the Washington Humane Society's mobile adoption van, Adopt Force One, is rolling into FedEx Field with some furry friends for four upcoming Redskins home games, starting this weekend.

Meet and greet WHS staff and volunteers, as well as adoptable cats and dogs hoping to find their forever homes while counting down till game time.  Adopt Force One is part of the WHS's off-site adoption events, held at a variety of local venues and allowing potential adopters to meet the animals outside of a shelter environment - which makes it easier to meet these sweet companion animals in a more personal manner. And of course, because they're at Fed Ex Field, these felines and canines are true Redskins fans, rooting for the home team.
