National Ice Cream Day always falls on the third Sunday in July, today is significant because the U.S. Women's Soccer Team is in a tense battle vs. Japan for a World Cup Title which they haven't won in 12 years.

Patriots Final Monthly Meeting

Patriots Final Monthly Meeting

The Patriots end-of-the-year monthly meeting was hosted by Bowie State College and BDPA (formerly known as Black Data Processing Associates).  The students enjoyed walking on the campus and some of the parents had flash backs when they were in college.  The opening remarks for the conference were rendered by Dr. Daryl Stone, Assistant Professor, and Computer Science at Bowie State.  Then Susan Stewart gave a presentation about CISCO.  Mr. Jucain Butler and some of the members set up a Lego and Flight Simulation exhibits.  They also had a chance to see the Tech Challenge Robot presented by Denise Lewis from US FIRST.  Mr. Ernest Moore of the Blacks in Government Chapter from the Census Bureau joined us as we built a partnership in preparing students for jobs in the federal government.
