WHS Alumni Update: July 6, 2012 | Families
We catch up with a few great alumni below. Help us complete more families by helping animals like Kit Kat and Dizzy find forever homes this week!
“My sweet girl, Luna, a Washington Humane Society alum, was a great flower girl in my wedding last weekend. Cute, no?”
We sure think so, Anna! Congratulations!
"Washington Humane Society alum Sweetie is a 7-year-old domestic short hair who was being cared for by WHS for quite some time. Sweetie's owner surrendered her because she said Sweetie was ill and she could not care for her. It's been a year since I adopted Sweetie and she is doing great! She loves playing with her Mylar balls and will actually play ‘fetch’ with me. She's a good, affectionate girl who enjoys sleeping under cozy blankets. I love that she greets me every evening when I get home from work. Over the past year Sweetie has brought me so much joy, I couldn't imagine my life without her. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for the WHS staff and the wonderful work they do to help and protect animals. They are true heroes! Keep up the tremendous work! The animals and their families will always be forever grateful. Sweetie says ‘Thank you WHS!’"
OK, we may have shown you a photo of Trunks once before, but we couldn’t resist this irresistible shot of him and his sibling, ready for an adventure. Thanks to his adopter, Gina Tomaselli, for sharing!
