Gaylord National Resort will celebrate excellence in food and wine at the Old Hickory Steakhouse on Saturday, May 5 featuring Cooking Light and Tortoise Creek Wines.

During the 2012 National Harbor Wine & Food Festival, an exclusive five-course dinner and wine pairing will be served in the restaurant’s RiverView Room overlooking the Potomac River.

Menu highlights include:

  •  Oysters with a Duet of Sauces
  •  Sunchoke Veloute with a Smoked Ham and Radish Salad
  • Barely Seared Salmon with Spring Vegetables and Mushroom Consomme
  • Lamb Porterhouse with Cauliflower and a Lamb-Beet Jus

Each guest will receive a complimentary copy of the latest edition of Cooking Light magazine, and an extensive, inside look at Tortoise Creek Wines most popular wines from France and California.

The Old Hickory Steakhouse Wine Dinner is priced at $125 per person, including tax, gratuity and three-hour complimentary self-parking in the Gaylord National Parking Garage.
