Today, Lt. Governor Anthony G. Brown kicked off Read Across Maryland Month at the “Green Eggs and Ham” Breakfast at Harry Browne’s in Annapolis, where he read the story by Dr. Seuss to 62 second grade students from Eastport Elementary School. The breakfast is held each year by the Maryland State Educators Association (MSEA) begin Read Across Maryland Month.

School lunches are in the headlines quite a bit, these days. Most people are calling for the school lunch program to clean up its act and start feeding the nation’s children healthier fare.
