Looks Like RGIII Will Land In D.C.; Report Says Luck Told By Colts He'll Be Picked Number 1

It looks like Robert Griffin III will land in D.C. after all.

Check out the tweet below that ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter sent out Thursday morning.

So, with Luck looking like he's an official lock to go to Indianapolis with the first overall pick in the NFL Draft, it seems as though Griffin will end up in Washington.

Thoughts on this news?

Jabar Gaffney: Redskins "Trying To Trade Me"

Jabar Gaffney: Redskins "Trying To Trade Me"

Could Jabar Gaffney be on his way out of town?  The Redskins veteran WR certainly thinks so.

Check out the tweet featured below that was sent out by Chris Russell from ESPN Radio 980 earlier today after speaking with Gaffney.

Do you think trading Gaffney would be a good move for the team?

Sound off below.

Who Said It: Redskins Lineman Adam Carriker On Twitter Or A Fortune Cookie?

Who Said It: Redskins Lineman Adam Carriker On Twitter Or A Fortune Cookie?

Let me start off by saying that I'm a big fan of Redskins defensive lineman Adam Carriker, specifically because I think the tweets he produces on Twitter are hilarious.

One of my favorite Carriker tweets was when he wrote on March 23 that "If you watch Godzilla backwards, it's about a dinosaur that passionately pieces a city back together before moonwalking into the sea."

Classic.

Anyway, I have noticed that occasionally Carriker tweets phrases that sound like fortune cookie sayings.

Therefore, to test this logic, I went ahead and put together this little game called "Who Said It? Adam Carriker on Twitter or a fortune cookie?"

ESPN Analyst: Colts Should Take RGIII Over Luck

ESPN Analyst: Colts Should Take RGIII Over Luck

When the Redskins traded up for the number two overall pick in the NFL Draft, everyone in D.C. assumed that Washington’s move would land them Baylor QB Robert Griffin III.

Maybe Griffin will still end up in D.C., but one ESPN analyst, Merril Hoge, thinks the Colts should take Griffin at number 1.

ESPN’s Sportscenter Twitter account sent this tweet out: “@merrilhoge just said on SC that he would take RG3 OVER Luck w/the No. 1 pick.”

Another tweet followed that read, “According to @merrilhoge, RG3 holds an edge over Luck in accuracy, arm strength & touch.”

So what if the Colts do take Griffin with the number one pick?  The Redskins would then presumably take Stanford QB Andrew Luck at number two.

If you had to choose between the two, who would you pick?
