Photo Gallery | PHOTOS: Pat LaFrieda and Adam Richman Prepare 3 Course Meal For Charity
Check out PHOTOS of NYC's legendary meat purveyor Pat Lafrieda and Travel Channel's Adam Richman from today's three-course cooking demo benefitting The Armed Forces Foundation at The Occidental.
The Armed Forces Foundation is a non-profit organization based in DC, dedicated to providing comfort and support to members of the Armed Forces and their families during their time of greatest need.
LaFrieda and Richman both sit on The Armed Forces Foundation Board, and prepared a trio of beef dishes including Skirt Steak Chimichurri, Steak Pizzaiola, and a mean Brisket to over 50 people including wounded warriors from Bethesda Naval and NASCAR's Richard Childress and Kurt Busch. The very entertaining three-course meal and carving demo cost $200-per-person.
"This type of support is really important for us at the Armed Forces Foundation. We have two great board members who do lots of awesome things-Pat Lafrieda and Adam Richman, and it's great they took the time to show off their skills to the troops in a personal food network presentation. There was lots of love in the room today for our troops and what we do," said The Armed Forces Foundation President, Patricia Driscoll.
